Another great book

At times Chancery drives me nuts. So kind to a fault. And wishy washy. She can’t decide on which man she is going for. I like Noah but I am definitely on Edem’s side on the relationship category. I also am not sure I loved reading about Covid in this book. It is a bit too close to home right now. But in the future I think that it would be fun to read about. Other than that I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait for the next book to come out in audio. I really have enjoyed this narrator.

Love this series!

I read the series as they came out but I'm still excited listening to it. The reader really brings Bakers characters to life. I was an avid audio book listener on my drives to and from work prior to Covid but I'm not in my car as much now. I find myself offering to run errands and sitting in my garage when I get home to finish a chapter.

It's action packed with some gruesome battles/parts, but it's clean and well written. There's no cursing or sex. There are biblical ties but I wouldn't call it religious. I'm 40 and I love it, but I would also recommend it to anyone 13+.
