Definitely Helpful

Smith is a very grounded, practical and humble healer and medium. This is quite refreshing in an area of instruction and interest that is sometimes overwhelmed with others' ego. I thoroughly enjoyed his soothing voice and the information provided. The meditation exercises at the end are excellent.

Left me wanting more!

Gordon Smith is excellent at explaining the spirit world and uses great humor as he teaches. I learned so much more from him than I have from any other medium's material I have read. I feel he has John Edwards (was my favorite) beat. His meditations, he offers three, were also excellent. I can't wait to hear his other works; I just hope those meditations are not a rehash like Edward's were in his different books. He gives so much insight on what it takes to achieve mediumship. I could listen to him for hours.

Wonderful 3 meditations at the end. Funny and helpful. I like that it was concise.

I was expecting more from this book

I bought this book years back and just got around to listening to it. I found it to be a talk which seemed to be more than one put together. The author makes statements about certain lessons, but I don't remember them at all. I will admit 1.5 hours is little time to get in depth on this subject. I have completed Gordon's online class through Hay House where he does go in depth which was better in all ways as it should be a 6 week course.

If you read this book just remember it's the beginning and not the end of the journey. You must take the steps or you will not learn. This is what I got from this book as well as only I can do the work for me and no one else can do it for me.

just alot of nothing didnt really follow very well. good story though. would have liked it better if had more .

Excellent

While this was a workshop I think it was absolutely great. He explained a lot of things that we as people never really think of but know about. This was a great listen.

Beyond disappointed

A mere 90 minutes recorded from a live presentation with audience. The majority of time spent with negative commentary, and how he doesn’t believe ghosts exist or can get stuck. He claims it’s nothing more than a mental state of our own. As someone who has experienced spirit since I was a child, this was offensive to hear, and he just beat it like a dead horse, on and on. The only value in this recording is the 2 guided meditations at the end. Other than that it will only confuse and mislead you.
