These books were all great but the true ending broke my heart. Sorry to be a spolier but my heart broke. I wish I didn't listen to the last 3.

Always so good!!!!

I always start these books and think to myself there is no way she can keep this story going and make it as good as the previous ones. She always proves me wrong. I love this series, and at the end of this book I feel like there were so many questions that had finally been answered! Well done!

awesome back story

the books are well written and rell stories from different points of view. this one went back to the beginning and explained why things were the way they were.

The Steele Brothers series is one of the best ones I’ve read- this book absolutely did not disappoint!

Loved the ending! Listened to it a few times! I will admit it was a little rough listening to how much Brad would keep from Daphne and stayed away so much when we, as a readers, knew what she was going through .

OMG

I loved all 16 books so far. This one was the saddest. The loss of so many. The forgiveness and horrible understanding of all that happened. Knowing some of the background insight was scary but enlightening for this listener. Brad and Daphne Steel had a love that lasted a lifetime and beyond. The realization of her childhood trauma was so expected but I didn't want to believe it. Tom, Larry and Matthias were in fact the devils incarnate. Windy Maddagan was a soul in love, lust, revenge and finally hate. she deserved what she got. I've listened to Awaking and waiting for the last 2 books. I love the Steel saga. Please keep it coming.

HAD ME IN TEARS!

I listened to this last installment of the Steel family and the ending had me in tears! A young man thrown into an impossible life scenario where no one wins and he gets the be with the love of his life! I’m a forever fan of Helen Hardt!
