Decimus changed
Great series but the narrator was not consistent with Fate's voice and inflections from book 1. Don't get me wrong, he is great overall but the confident, assertive Fate is dulled down significantly in book 2. Others I know who have listened to both noticed this too.

Great story
The story and characters are great with a top notch performance. IF POSSIBLE I WOULD GIVE THE STORY 3.8 It's not a 3 but it is also not a solid 4. It could be a solid 5. Everything is there for this to be an epic display of fantasy fiction but it reads and listens like a novella based off a main story line. All that to say, it is worth a spare credit if you have one as is the first book however I would suggest going a cheaper digital paper route.
