His sexy, growly, bearded presence is very hard to ignore, but I'm trying. Ok but..
I love the different story line & overall concept.. the main characters anger over Thorne & Rick’s “secret” was annoying.. seriously? Lasted entirely too long. It wasn’t even that big a deal.. but overall good story

Blood, Spice, and Not Everything Nice
The FMC has my giggling and laughing-her wit, violent tendencies, and sarcasm make this book. She can be a brat, but thats why we love her. I enjoyed the narrators voice performance. The character and world building. the twists and turns. Of course, ends on a cliff!

Conflict between MMCs
I like this, but I truly don’t understand why Isla took it so personally. It really has nothing to do with her, and wasn’t her business to really know. I don’t like that. The build-up made it seem like it would be harmful to her, but it doesn’t impact her at all, except how personally she took it. I wish it had been something real enough to justify her reactions. And for something like omission being so much like betrayal to her, she has no problem with omissions of her own that DO put herself and others in danger. She really annoyed me in this regard.

Fell Short
I had a really hard time finishing this book. I was happy with the heroin still being juvenile and sassy, but the ridiculous and frequent love declarations from the love interest was just too much. This almost felt like it was written by someone completely different than the first book. The story was hard to follow; I could barely understand the prophecies, and it was just all around lackluster. The last hour of the book was the most interesting, but still didn't make up for the blah of the rest. Very disappointing.

Love this series
I'm loving this series; the characters, narration, and the overall story are great. I think I would have enjoyed hearing other characters POV.
