This is a good book
The plot is strong and the characters credible. The inclusion of Beatrix Potter as a primary character works because her interests and talent are accurately portrayed even though she was never a part of this plot you feel she could have been. Im looking forward to the next book in the series

Enjoyable cozy mystery
The plot was good with just enough twists and turns to keep me engaged.
There were a couple of subplots that were quite distracting and made me listen to several chapters twice. This is the first book I have listened to in the series, so the subplots might be more meaningful to regular readers.
Beatrix Potter was a fun addition to the story and I could not help rooting for her to get her books published!
The narrator did a fine job and did not make the American character sound like a shrew as do so many English speakers.
