Best Damn Author !!!
Craig Johnson is a GREAT writer. He has never gotten lazy as his series progressed. He has simply improved with every story.
George Guidall kills it as narrator.
He has become my favorite author.

One of the best so far in the Walt Longmire series
I hesitated before writing this, but here it is: I enjoyed Daughter of the Morning Star more than more recent titles because there's very little Vic in it and Cady is barely mentioned.
Johnson has written what he writes about best: the friendship of Walt and Henry Standing Bear. The focal point of the novel--the perilous existences of native women living on the reservation--is spun around two teenaged sisters, with just the lightest touch of mysticism. It's clear that the story will be continued (good). And George Guidall's narration is, as always, wonderful.
