Any kind of death annuls everything except his present knowledge and returns him to the past. This is a good way to test all sorts of things. That is, it would be, if not for one little thing.... This loop has real lords and it's unlikely that they'll be happy to hear about an uninvited guest. And that isn't his only problem - all of his memories of the last year have simply disappeared, but the world around him has changed in the meantime.

Terrific development of the series!
It just keeps getting better. And more complex.

The long-departed, talked-about, but never seen, Je Revien finally shows up and the plan is about as sociopathic and dastardly as you’d expect. The story pulls together Darkship Renegades and A Few Good Men. Centuries in the future, humans are again fighting for their freedom & independence.
This story takes place in space, on Earth, back in space, and, apparently, in the next installment, we’ll be back on Eden. Looking forward to it!
