No bad...not bad at all!
"Darkling Light: And Other Stories" (2013, 2021) is an entertaining collection of macabre stories written by one author—Jay Gaskell. Not exactly brilliant, but each story held my interest from start to finish. As with all such anthologies, some stories are better than others, but none is a clunker. Jerry Bradshaw’s narration is effective. Recommended. At my request, I was given this free audiobook and have voluntarily left this review.
