An Interesting Slice of Alasken History

This is a I believe a true story of the last visit of Mr. Woolworth to his Alasken property 30 miles outside Fairbanks, Alaska. He is a geologist doing research and spends some time with a couple of Natives who have been friends of the family since his grandfather built there. Narrator does a good job with the entire storyline

Pretty Good!

The story was pretty good, but it was a bit confusing for me. The author did a good job of building the mystery, but I'm not sure that the mystery was fully resolved. I do think that the narrator was a perfect choice for the characters!

Somethings Wrong in Remote Alaska

Gene Woolworth comes to visit the remote Alaskan cabin he grew up in and inherited from his grandfather only to find strange happenings going on. Wild animals are dying and acting strangely. Weird things are going on with the land and water, and no one seems to have a logical reason why.

This plot will take you on a roller-coaster ride of mystery and intrigue that will change everything you thought you knew. Something new was happening in every chapter, and I just could not stop listening. The narrator did a wonderful job of building up the suspense. I highly recommend this book. I want to tell you more, but I don't want to give away anything. I received this book for free upon my request. I am voluntarily leaving this review of my own free will.

Awesome book

This book was awesome and throughly enjoyed it. Great storytelling and loved the premise of the story.

Not exactly a thriller but if you like science, geology, and nature you will enjoy

Down to Earth

Reads like a turn of the century novel. Interesting story and enjoyed it. But don't expect introspection or character development. The voice was well matched to the content and pleasant to listen to.

This was a freaking awesome book!

This is not the gotcha type horror that people seem to like these days this is an intellectual fright fest. Again I thought it was awesome and if you like horror you’ll love this book! TheMystery start right away and right away you become glued to the book. The first few pages I thought oh this doesn’t sound that great, but then… It gets super good. I was amazed no one put a review yet especially after the twist at the end. If you like or a box of books about mysteries not cozy mystery is not they had a wedding and some I was found murdered I mean true mysteries get this book

Fascinating story covering an interesting range of topics from dog slays to native indians to geological facts

Loved the characters in this book. Felt as if I was drawn in and felt the pain/happiness of the characters themselves. Well written and narrated
