Gnath Fist is uploaded onto a cloned variation of Earth. As he adjusts to his new circumstances, he’s briefed on his first mission: To liberate the city of Mahns-a-Lore. In order to be successful, he is given a Mech Core and acquires the Cymech class.

There's just one problem: He's got no resources, apart from a mangy kid. At least the kid is a savvy engineer. With mere pieces of a mech build, Gnath is supposed to level up and take on dangerous enemies. Oh yea — he's also got to watch his stabilization. If he doesn't, he risks dying to the Cyborg effect.

Pretty good

Honestly, I almost stopped halfway through. but I stuck through it and was rewarded with a great read throughout the second half. I'll probably pick up the next one when it comes out.

A great read.

I loved it. Memorable characters, great action, and atmosphere. I can't wait for the next book in the series.

Solid

This a solid work. It's entertaining and different. It can feel off with some of the dialog. Not sure if it's the narrator or the material.

Great audiobook!

I do love a good mech book. Overall this was a well told story but it doesn’t start out with any 20 foot tall mechs. But it looks like book 2 will have that. Can’t wait!!

Underwhelming

Emotionless, basic, predictable, boring, with no real tension or suspense. But I listened to the complete story and I'm sure there's an audience for this genre, but this author needs more writing experience.
