Excellent Fall Cozy

Cursed in the Cornfield is A Temp Job Cozy Mystery book 5 by K B Blake. I felt that this Fall mystery was a perfect story to usher in cooler weather. Scarlette is working temporarily at a pumpkin farm that is struggling financially. I enjoy reading about Scarlette's temp jobs. Unfortunately for her, someone seems to die when she is around. I find the continuity of characters to be great with the author adding interesting characters with each story. Amber Battaglia gives an outstanding narration. This series is not to be missed.

A Pumpkin Farm, Family,Friends & A Cozy Mystery

Cursed In The Cornfield is the 5th book in the Temp Job Cozy Mystery series and they are all so enjoyable! Scarlett Chase is trying to figure out what type of job she wants to do so in the meantime she is working temp jobs. In this book, she is working at a pumpkin farm that has hay rides, a corn maze, food, booths and a petting zoo. The farm is struggling financially and a couple of developers are harassing the family to sell. One of the developers ends up dead and Scarlett finds her in the goat pen. A nice surprise is Pudding, the goat from the first book! There are some strange things happening. On top of that, Scarlett’s father’s memory is improving after his accident which really adds to the story! Scarlett’s boyfriend Austin is busy with work and classes and they don’t see as much of each other but they still work through a misunderstanding. This was a very enjoyable cozy mystery and the characters are what make it so great! The audiobook narrated by Amber Battaglia is very well done! She really brings the characters to life #CursedInTheCornfield. #ATempJobCozyMystery

Another great story in the series

Cursed in the Cornfield is the 5th in the Temp Jobs Cozy Mystery series by K.B. Blake. It’s autumn and Scarlett Chase is working in a pumpkin farm while she figures out her life. Things seems to be getting better for Scarlett, but she still gets drawn into a theft and murder! I enjoy seeing the characters grow and mature and recommend reading the series from the beginning. The narration by Amber Battaglia is great. She brings the characters and story to life. I received a free audiobook code for my honest review.
