Sully and Ofelia are going to have to work together to find answers. Their adventure will lead them from the French Quarter to the Garden District and beyond. Even then, when things start coalescing, gnashing teeth won’t be the worst of their problems.

Months ago they were two factions working on their own. Now they’re together, and stronger for it.

Not all the magic in the Big Easy is good. Some is evil...and the two sides are about to collide.

Love Sully

I love the progression of characters. Ofelia and Sully are fantastic. The relationship is perfect.

LOVE THIS SERIES

I ENJOY THIS SERIES. THE CHARACTERS ARE QUIRKY WITHOUT BEING OVER THE TOP, AND THEY ARE INTERESTING. YOU JUST KNOW THERE IS MORE TO COME FROM EACH ONE. OFELIA AND SULLY ARE GREAT, AND I DO ENJOY THEM; BUT PASCHAL INTRIGUES ME. I THINK I AM FINE WITH JUST GLIMPSES OF OFELIA'S MOM, THOUGH; AND OFELIA PROBABLY AGREES. ANYWAY, I ONLY RECENTLY FOUND THIS SERIES AND AM BINGE LISTENING THROUGH IT. ON TO THE NEXT BOOK.

Thriller Meets The Big Easy

Is there anything more annoying than a bunch of brain eating zombies? Ofelia and Sully have to discover who the diabolical mastermind is behind this latest threat to their beloved city. These zombies come with a twist: they’re newly dead, not raised from the grave. Hart’s latest speakeasy mystery will have you guessing at every turn!

Rueful, Rueful, Rueful, Rueful

To me, it is mildly irritating when I’m reading a book and a particular word is constantly repeated, but it becomes maddening when a word—particularly an adjective—is overused like this in an audible book.
It becomes distracting, and interferes with the story being told.

Ofelia and Company are Great!

I am enjoying my 2nd time through this paranormal cozy series. Zombies. New Orleans. Lots of snark and food references. Wonderful narrator who can do male voices well. All good!
