Kate Winters, author of the popular mystery series The Masters, finds herself in a bit of a predicament - she doesn't seem to be able to write any longer. Very Enjoyable!

I really got a kick out of this book. Kate, a novelist from Dallas, goes to Coyote NM to stay with her outspoken, and BFF Brenda. Kate doesn’t call her writing dry spell a “block,” but Brenda does. The slow pace, scenery, off-the-wall talented group of artists, and the gorgeous, magnetic tow sheriff make her stay eventful. I even laughed out loud in spots. Good love story and narrated to perfection by Abby Craden. Enjoy!

Good One Again

Usually, I don't like romance novels. I have been reading some of Gerri Hills books, the storyline always has me sitting on the edge of my seat.

A must read! It's a fantastic love story between two women.

Good story

Although this story is unbelievable it’s entertaining. All the characters are pretty much unreal. I particularly liked the friends as crazy as they sounded. The narration was great as always.

Struggling Writer and Sexy Sheriff

Kate Winters has writer’s block so her wealthy friend Brenda invites her to the high desert of New Mexico to concentrate. Sheriff Lee Foxx is a sexy woman who attracts lesbian and straight women equally. The fates are pulling them together but Kate wants no part of the womanizer. Great performance but Kate’s density about Lee’s actions is a bit much. A really rushed conclusion. Still recommend.

Great story annoying "darling"

I am very fond of Gerri Hill books and Abby Craden as the narrator. This book was no different except the constant use of "darling" from one of the main characters. It almost caused me to not finish the book!

Ahh, go to the mountains to write!

The many character voice’s of Abby is just amazing.

Kate is at a crossroads that she has yet to see. Lee has been going through the motion for a long time. Their paths are going to collide under the Coyote Sky. Gerri Hill brings the area of Coyote, New Mexico to life as Kate tries to unwind her writers block. I fell in love with the area, which is a gift of this authors blooks. Her vivid telling make you feel you are right there with the characters. The beautiful connection between the characters and their stubbornness to admit it just brings fun to a great story. I have read this many times and listened too with the amazing Abby Craden giving life to each emotion the characters struggle through. Great story.

Artist Community & Inspiring Landscapes

Enjoyed Gerri’s depiction of friends supporting each other and the tension of a new attraction. Abby’s voice carried me through high desert vistas.

I loved Coyote Sky. The location alone was incredible. Kate Winters and Lee Foxx make a great combination. Abby Craden does her usual excellent job with the narration.
