Noah didn’t expect much from entering the virtual reality world of Asgard’s Fall. Even the danger of the experimental full immersion technology didn’t put him off. It beat living in a nursing home, and it was supposed to let him feel young again...at least until modern medicine and his body gave out. But there was something wrong with Asgard’s Fall. Most of the time, the “gods” running the game didn’t act like AIs were supposed to. Some of the players took things too seriously, like they knew something about the game that Noah didn’t.

Fantastic book, but hell waiting for the sequel
A fantastic story and read by an amazing narrator! I would only warn that the sequel has been years later than anticipated. The author posted that the sequel, The Prisoner, was completed in January last year (2019)

Dialogue needs work, but the tale is awesome!
Andrew S. Ball commits several times the authorian sin of repeating what the reader already knows, and the dialogue sits in a putrid mix of the outdated and poorly executed. The tale of Daniel Fitzgerald therefore stands only on the legs of its indelibly intriguing Multiversal concept, and the continual quest to find what each of the characters are up to. The love story is fine, and the story elements carry on their own arcs longer than I expected before they tangled, but the ending, and he story arc itself have me craving the next installment.
Not a masterpiece, but it's a story I can love.
