Should be mandatory reading

This was an absolute page turner. The detail and information about the start of the investigation into Russia and its attempt (with success) to interfere in the 2016 election. This book also walks us through the numerous Trump figures that welcomed this foreign assistance. Highly recommend this book.

Raw, open, authentic telling of Mr Strzoks experience.

This book opens the reader to the world of Counterespionage, National Security and the ugly side of politics. The author is historically factual to the best of his ability, authentic in the telling of his experiences, and humble in the recounting of his mistakes. For me it was a lot to digest, how good men that served their country well were taken down and publicly demonized at the whim of a radicalized right wing power structure. It’s apparent that the author did what he could to keep the country safe. The end left me sick to my stomach. Everyone needs to read this. Rightwing, leftwing and the indifferent. Knowledge is power. Get out and VOTE.

Very insightful, yet heart-wrenching account of the Trump corruption effect on the FBI, the Department of Justice and one man's career.

This book provides a differently profound and insightful look into recent and ongoing political events. Extremely well written and narrated. Highly recommended for everyone regardless of personal opinions or political leanings.

A Thriller!

This book is about much more than Donald Trump. It's a peek at what its like to be a counterintelligence officer for the FBI. I highly recommend it.

Upfront, direct

I am glad Mr Strzok wrote of his experiences. I really enjoyed knowing of his lift story and it added a layer of sadness that an American that served his country was drug through the mud by a President that betrayed his oath with Russia for his own power, ego and greed. I hope in time we will know of all the stories of Americans that Trump destroyed the careers. This is a part of our collective experience and American history.

Non-Fiction

Strzok does an excellent job at narration. The book of course if chock full of foreign govts, lying, cheating, deceit and ugliness. In our own govt. He tells his story of investigations, truth and fact. Disturbing but need to know. Would recommend.

Eye opening and relevant beyond 2020

We must all open our eyes to the threat posed by Russia and other enemies of our nation both foreign and domestic. Peter Strzok does an amazing job explaining with quite a bit of back story how the FBI operates and the usual integrity of the work done by the FBI to protect our nation and its interests and to protect the constitution. I am astounded by what he has revealed and I for one will never take anything from any source at face value again. Everything from every source must be fact checked. Donald J Trump has set several very dangerous precedents and has performed more like a dictator would be expected to perform. The damage that I fear he has done to this country, it’s institutions and our constitution if horrifying and It is plain as day to see how divided we are since his election. Thank you Mr. Strzok and thanks to your family for what I know has been a horrible experience. I and I know most of us are eternally grateful for your sacrifice in the name of our freedoms and our constitution. You are a true patriot and I am thankful to hear your story. It has made me feel more at ease regarding the Clinton emails scandal outcome as I too had become caught up in the firestorm of online allegations against her. As a conservative, I now recognize that there are dangerous factions on both extremes of the isle and will be more wary about just voting party ever again. I will be looking beyond the rhetoric and to the facts as confirmed by at least two independent fact checkers as well as to look at each party and what their current candidate has to offer and what potential threat they may bring as well. Thank you again Peter Strzok!
