I did fly away!

This book paints very vivid images of a life and a time gone by. I hadn’t realized what a life changing opportunity a career as a Stewardess was for women then. The two protagonists lives are markedly different yet they both become similarly strong as women and professionals. A wonderful story about many things but as a woman blessed with deep friendships, this became a very personal story. Wonderful imagery, I felt like I was right there, in every scene, especially the travel scenes and it was a great “staycation!”

Intriguing and heartfelt

This book now ranks among my favorite that I have listened to or read in the last few years . It is an original and creative storyline that provides both education and entertainment. The story of friendship, newly discovered independence, loyalty, and love is heartwarming and just a feel good story in general. Although Judy encounters a dangerous situation at times, the strength and love of those around her is uplifting. I will be purchasing more books by this author immediately! Highly recommended!

Delightful Read

Come Fly With Me is a genuinely captivating read that was moving and engaging. I quickly fell in love with the friendship that grew between the main characters. I became invested in their stories and I know these are characters I would want to revisit. This is a book you keep.

If you are a fan of anything related to air travel or the Jet Set era, you’ll love this book. I’d also recommend this to fans of Taylor Jenkins Reed who are looking to expand their horizons and see the other shiny stars of those times.

It is a little sad towards the end, so keep tissues handy. That said it is still an uplifting read for someone with difficult choices to make when it comes to a relationship.

Thoroughly enjoyed

I loved this book! Story was great. I loved all the characters except for Henry. I remember so many of the incidents in this book. I also lived, went to school and worked on Oahu, so I was familiar with all the locations in the book, although explained thoroughly, no visits necessary. Judi and Beverly were so delightful and I felt like they were my friends also. I highly recommend this book.

Wow! This immediately absorbing book neatly shoehorns an intriguing feast of topics and fascinating storyline with compelling characters into a tightly written historical retrospective on the legendary PanAm Airways in the early 1960s.

Best book of 2025

Breathtaking. Incredible time piece with fantastic characters that are both lovely and relatable. This book was refreshing for a historical lover and touched on a place in time with Pan Am Flights and its impact upon our lives and our history. I believe this book will be my favorite book of 2025 and one of my all time favorite reads. Fantastic real historical events and learning experience for me to read with its own beautiful fiction. Great narrators who I always love to listen to and fantastic storytellers! Highly recommended this!
