A great athlete

If you could sum up Colin Kaepernick in three words, what would they be?

This audiobook does a good job describing the life and achievements of Quarterback Colin Kaepernick. I was surprised to learn that Kaepernick was nearly as talented in baseball as he was in football! Most of this audiobook is devoted to the specifics of Colin Kaepernick's accomplishments on the football field-with a little bit of Colin Kaepernick's personal information thrown in. However, I found the personal information to be much more interesting than the stream of football statistics that were shared-so I wished the author had provided more personal information and less statistics-especially since Kaepernick is such an interesting guy.

This book follows Colin Kaepernick's life in chronological order starting with his childhood and working into his professional career.

It was a true story, easy to follow, and it was an interesting take from inside the NFL.

Korbid Thompson did well with the narration.

The narration was well done and the facts and information on Colin made it interesting till the end.

A Good Quick Listen

This book does a good job at scratching the surface, but unfortunately does not offer any interesting back stories in any kind of depth.

Surprised by lack of content and quality.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

Someone who wanted to hear a monotone voice read all the stats from every game he ever played.

What could Clayton Geoffreys have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Provide any sort of personal information about who Colin actually is and why he does some of the things he does like battle the media and not stand for the national anthem.

What didn’t you like about Korbid Thompson’s performance?

Monotone voice.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Colin Kaepernick?

I would have cut 80% of it.

In hindsight I should have spent more time reading the reviews and details about the book. It's only 1hr and 13 minutes and "unauthorized" (which I missed) but the part that caught me was "inspirational". Trust me, there is nothing inspirational in this book.
