Great story!

This book has been one of the best that I have heard in a long time!

Oh the chemistry!

I loved the main characters. I even loved how the main character was independent and didn't rely on anyone else to take care of their problems.

Good book

Really enjoyed the book. I really liked Edward as a narrator, I don’t think I’ve ever heard him before. Lauren was good too!!

My only complaint would be that they hated each other so much but never listened to try to work it out. Then when they got together finally it was great!! I loved them together and I loved the epilogue!!

I stumbled across this book && I’m so glad I did! I loved it! The narrators were great as well as the story being good I didn’t want it to end! I’m definitely checking out more books by this author!

Light, fun and totally sassy!

As my first RS Grey audiobook, I seriously fell for her quick-witted writing. Ethan and Taylor had a nice slow simmer to full on boil! I thought the storyline was super fun and was surprised with the light angst. The narrators, Lauren Thomas and Edward Barnes were great narrators. I'm not sure I've listened to either of them but I liked both their voices.

Def fun and love that there’s no misunderstandings

The narration was on point. I liked the story. I loved that there aren’t any misunderstandings between the couple, just a nice story.
Fun, flirty, and well done.

Funny and delightful

Everyone knows what is meant by the phrase "trailer trash" and no one wants to live there or be referred to by that phrase. Taylor's working hard to support her alcoholic-recovering mother and high school sister above water financially with a sub-minimum wage job and buying any food week to week is and meds for her sister are the top priority.
She's hit bottom when the car needs repairs this she makes a impulsive bad decision followed by an even worse one with Ethan. They part ways not knowing the details when they meet again... When Taylor's applying for a job.
Overall, this premise is stretched for our romantic hearts. I love Taylor's fiestiness and personality and found that it was consistent throughout the story. Ethan's character didn't seem as defined to me. I didn't get sense of who he was other than his emotions regarding Taylor - very one dimensional. It would have been easy to add in his work personality, his relationship with his sister (feelings, actual development of conversation), and his friends.
There were a multiple male characters introduced that all wanted to date Taylor plus a "Pretty Woman" nod of an insulting male that gets punched. Maybe fewer extraneous males in order to develop Ethan.
I enjoyed the banter between Taylor and Ethan which was often very funny. The narrators were spot on for me with their delivery.
Definitely recommend this story.

Angst & Hilarity ensue

This book was the epitome of RS Grey - angsty and hilarious. I loved the premise. I loved the fire between Taylor and Ethan - such chemistry and stubbornness provided for a feisty book. I also love that this was done in a setting that is atypical for romance stories, so bravo Ms. Grey.

The narrators did an excellent job bringing these characters to life.

Best Book by R.S. Grey!

Well written slow burn romance with a feisty down on her luck heroine and arrogant hero. Loved it!
