However, the authors' advice is to carefully evaluate the severity of your problems and to be cautious in dealing with this type of self-help, because if your ailments have serious pathological components and your feelings are too overwhelming, you may need to other types of intervention to be addressed with the advice of a psychotherapist.

Great listen
I felt like this book had a lot of solid evidence because it would introduce problems that people suffer in life but it would also provide a solution to solve that problem. One of the examples in the book was about a girl who lost her parents, and instead of grieving for the rest of her life she used that to remember how many other things that she had in her life which made her grateful in the end. This book will give you a lot of methods to find strength in troubling times.
