Acerca de esta escucha
Does your relationship feel oddly one-sided? You may be codependent!
Codependency is not a widely known psychological term, even though it’s not a rare problem.
Do you feel that your partner somehow brings out your worst qualities and makes you feel worthless?
Do you feel that your self-esteem is entirely defined by your partner’s approval or disapproval?
Do you find it hard to understand your feelings because you can’t separate them from your partner’s?
If you’ve answered any of these questions with "yes", you may be in a codependent relationship.
Codependency is not a diagnosis, but rather an unhealthy, one-sided relationship dynamic. It can range from very subtle to quite extreme, when a person makes terrible sacrifices just to earn their partner’s approval.
Codependency can be hard to recognize. This is why you need to know its early signs so that you can take action immediately - especially if your partner is a narcissist. Recovering from a codependent relationship with a narcissist can take years and seriously undermine your mental health, so run away as soon as possible!
If you suspect that you have a tendency towards codependency, don’t despair. Your attachment style is largely defined by your childhood experiences, but you can still change it with the right techniques.
This audiobook will teach you everything you need to know about codependency.
Here’s what you’ll learn:
- How to recognize signs of codependency in your relationship
- How to change your attachment style to make you less prone to codependency
- How to practice mindfulness and self-care to reduce your codependency
- How to break away from narcissistic abuse
- And much more!
Even if you’re in a happy and fulfilling relationship now, you should still educate yourself about codependency. This is a surefire way to prevent unhealthy tendencies that might ruin your relationship in the future!
Learn to recognize the signs of codependency and check if your relationship is healthy.

Yung Pueblo’s path to deep healing began only after years of drug abuse had taken a toll on his mind and body. Searching for a way forward, he found that by honestly examining and addressing the anxieties and fears that he had been running away from, he no longer felt like a stranger inside of his heart and mind. And once he dedicated himself to meditation and trusting his intuition, he started to finally feel mentally lighter, with more love emerging from within. This was not an easy journey, and it's one that he is still on, but it showed him that real healing is possible.

The human mind is a masterpiece - one which is defined by several factors, including the things we pass through as humans. Some of these things make us better, while others change us for the worse. In the process of getting changed for the worst, we come out of these situations by totally caring about other people’s problems rather than ours for survival. This is not a good way to live, and to be honest, this is not the way things have been designed to happen.

When you want to live your life and free yourself from a narcissist, it can be hard to know what to do. The problem is that your sense of self has been eroded because you’ve not had the chance to think for yourself and be who you are for as long as you can remember. When life sends you down this type of spiral, it can feel daunting when you so much as contemplate leaving and living life on your own terms. But the truth is that this is natural, everyone in your position feels this way, and it’s certainly nothing to be ashamed of.

Trauma is a fact of life. Veterans and their families deal with the painful aftermath of combat; one in five Americans has been molested; one in four grew up with alcoholics; one in three couples have engaged in physical violence. Dr. Bessel van der Kolk, one of the world’s foremost experts on trauma, has spent more than three decades working with survivors. In The Body Keeps the Score, he uses recent scientific advances to show how trauma literally reshapes both body and brain, compromising sufferers’ capacities for pleasure, engagement, self-control, and trust.

Success in work, love, and life depends on developing habits that activate the powerful prefrontal cortex when we need it most. Unfortunately, under stress, the human brain tends to revert to emotional habits we forged in toddlerhood: blame, denial, avoidance, reacting to a jerk like a jerk, and turning our connections into cold shoulders - or worse. In Soar Above, renowned relationship expert Dr. Steven Stosny offers a groundbreaking formula for building new, pressure-resistant habits.

Historia
To grow in recovery, we must grow up emotionally. This means getting honest with ourselves and facing up to the self-defeating thoughts and actions that put our sobriety at risk. Although there are as many ways to mess up recovery as there are alcoholics and addicts, some general themes exist, which include: confusing self-concern with selfishness; not making amends; using the program to try to become perfect; not getting help for relationship troubles; and believing that life should be easy. Allen Berger explores the 12 most commonly confronted beliefs and attitudes that can sabotage recovery.

Incredible audiobook!
The author was clear and concise in explaining utilizing different people's life experiences. I loved that I could see how easy it is to fall into this vicious cycle and how so many of us around us are doing so same as well as myself. Recognizing boundaries and taking action on them has been an eye-opener for me in so many ways. Thank you for writing this audiobook, you have helped me and others so much!
