Un viaje maravilloso
He viajado usando mis oídos y me he conmovido como pocas veces al disfrutar un buen libro.
He roto paradigmas al leer de otra manera, he descubierto o recordado detalles de lugares donde he caminado o vivido.
He hecho “insight” de la ricura del argot, de la belleza al sentirse identificado con lugares o estilos.
Me siento emocionada y agradecida por esta obra de Felipe.

This a great book from a good friend
I have known Luis Felipe since college he is a good friend with a unique mind. I have always loved his stories; this book is no exception, pristinely written, I felt as I was reading it of a notebook just “out of the oven”.
The narrator was ok but I had another rhythm in mind in certain sections, but got use to it.

Me viajé con la narración
La verdad no he tenido oportunidad de viajar por la pandemia, pero este libro me ha activado la imaginación para hacerlo con ella. Me sorprendió lo bien narrado que está, y sobre el contenido, Luis Felipe Lomelí es garantía de una buena historia.

Viajar con los oídos en tiempos de confinamiento
Esta obra es muy entretenida. Empecé y no pude parar hasta terminarla. Los relatos entrelazan emociones que van desde la carcajada limpia hasta el estrujo del corazón. Me he quedado enganchada de la posible historia detrás de esa dependienta de baño público tan lejos de Argentina y al mismo tiempo con ganas de poder gritar y beber en ese concierto.
Comala, Finisterra, Praga, Roma, Pretoria, Valparaíso y Lisboa se suman a la lista de lugares a visitar evocando la mirada del autor.
¿Será que también debo empezar a aprender mandarín?
En este tiempo donde salgo lo indispensable y aún con temor, estas palabras me dieron la posibilidad de viajar desde casa.

Las posibilidades del viaje
El viaje es uno de los temas que atraviesan nuestra tradición literaria, desde Ulises hasta hoy (e incluso el Gilgamesh), es en esa vasta temática es que se incerta la obra de Lomelí, cincuenta ciudades en las que se procede a hacer una anábasis, la expedición al interior (del propio, al modo de Saint-John Perse. Las posibilidades del viaje, de conocer nuevas ciudades, nuevas costumbres, personas, son exploradas aquí de manera sensible e inteligente y con gran consciencia histórica, un viaje que nos lleva a Pretoria, a Shangai, a Los Ángeles, a Vancuver, a Lisboa, a Valparaíso, a Cracovia, con humor pero no por ello de manera superficial, el dolor no está obviado y en algunas ciudades puede mover hasta el llanto.
