The Little Valley Library is shutting its doors due to a terrible combination of anonymous threats and a lack of funding.
The sheriff is stumped in the investigation of who is sending the threats, so amateur sleuths, Anna and Beth, step in to help. But before they can get to the bottom of it, Beth volunteers to organize a fundraising Christmas fair for the library—in spite of everything the sisters already have on their plates with the upcoming holiday. Anna is reluctant at first, but soon joins in on the festivities.
