A Beautiful Find

This story is heartbreaking and beautiful. You follow to friends from childhood to adulthood has they navigate love and friendship. This story was told in a way that made you feel it even after it's finished. This is definitely a book I will be re-reading over and over again.

amazing!!

i absolutely loved this book. RC Boldt is a new author to me and I'm always a little weary about new authors, but this was free in audible escape so decided to give the book a try. I COULD NOT stop listening. I was sucked in from the very beginning and finished it in less than a day. This is an amazing love story with some very sexy scenes. I will definitely be reading/listening the rest of her books!!

Sweet second chance story

I loved about this audiobook—the story, the characters, and the narrators. Absolute perfection. I’ll definitely be reading more by this author.

Wow! This was just a beautiful love story.

The story was heartbreaking and sweet. Every girl should have a Hollis.
This author is new to me. I added several of RC’s books to my library before I even finished this one. I’m going to start a new one as soon as I finish writing this!
The narrators are also new to me. They were FANTASTIC. They both added so much depth to the characters through their excellent portrayals. The breaking of a voice in an emotional scene or the strain in the voice during other difficult scenes elevated their performances to a level that’s a notch above many of the other popular narrators. I will definitely be seeking out these narrators!
Well done to all involved. This is a book that I will listen to many times. Loved it.

Soul-Stirring Coming Of Age Romance

Choose Me is a complete standalone novel told in dual pov that begins with a harrowing prologue. I absolutely love the structure and layout of the narrative. We begin with childhood friendships until adulthood with intricately weaved angst swirling through the narrative. A unforgettable poignant coming of age romance with compelling loveable characters that you are drawn to. I fell in love with Holis and Magnolia right from childhood and continued to fall deeper at every chapter. The writing style is organic & captures your mind. I absolutely love the ending, as it was perfect.


Narrators Samantha Summers, David Vaughn are both new to me and definitely would listen to them again. A perfect dual naration. I absolutely loved David Vaughn's portrayl of Holis and the way he changed his tone as Holis grew older. Very talented and lovely to listen to. Samantha Summers portrayal of Magnolia was veracious. Their inflection fit the characters perfectly and these two brought profundity to the characters. These two narrators brought their A Game and knocked this naration out of the park. I absolutely loved the narration.

Overall, a beautiful angsty listen with talented narators who gave the narrative and characters justice.

Solid heartwarming read

I did really enjoy this dual narration story. It was a sweet, small town romance about best friends to lovers with a pretty slow burn. I thought it would have more angst than it did and parts of it had me shaking my head in disbelief over some of the character choices, but Ms. Boldt does have a talent and a lyrical quality to her writing. I'll definitely read more from this author.

Choose Me ....was simply an amazing find on Audible escape.. RC Boldt does a wonderful job weaving a heartwarming love story from youth to adulthood. It leaves you with all the warm fuzzy's you crave from a HEA written wonderfully and narrated superbly . David Vaughn where have you been all my reading life??. You gave a great swoon worthy performance and I'll be impatiently waiting for more to come from you sir. Job well done, both you and Samantha Summers. AMAZING!!!! Enjoy it i did.

The book begins with a glimpse into the present – where Hollis is at his best friend's wedding, Magnolia, and his heart is broken because he is going to lose her to another man. 💔

The story goes back to the past, where the two met when they were 8, when Hollis moved to a small town in Alabama that is divided between those who have money and those who do not. Magnolia grew up in a luxurious house where social status is the most important and Hollis lives on the other side of the fence. And yet, she decided he was going to be her best friend. 😍

Hollis is loyal with a huge heart, but his mother reminded him every day that he would never be good enough for Magnolia, until he began to believe it… Magnolia is a real southern girl who is expected to be the perfect daughter and please her parents, but despite the prejudices, their brave friendship grew from elementary school, all the way to adulthood. 💥

But as their childish feelings became more, they did not have the courage to expose them, until Hollis realized that his time is running out –
And maybe, just maybe… she will choose him. 😭🙏💔

This book made me laugh, cry, get upset and fall in love. Every page was pure magic!!! 💥
I do not think I ever hoped that characters would get the happy ending they deserved, like in this book. I found myself shaking my Kindle to make them see what they have right under their noses. 🙏😂

I loved the slow progress (which made the plot believable) until I almost forgot it was just a book. 😂
There were some things that felt illogical and annoyed me (their mothers) or were unnecessary to me (the intimate relationship with another described in great detail) and most of the book describes their childhood – but I still enjoyed myself. 😍

This is a story about friendship and self-search, but especially love – one that you can not live without, that if it is taken away from you – you will never be the same… 💔👑

Heartwrenching, but...

So worth it! The story was sweet! Their love was so strong and pure! I laughed, I cried, I got mad. I loved this book so much. The narrating was great! You'll notice a unique spin on the way the auther helps them tell us their story. Loved this one a lot!

This story was so unbelievable! It is a must listen! Definitely my new favorite romance!
