Delightful story and characters.
If you are looking for something light-hearted, this book is a real winner. The characters are well-developed, and the story moves along at a nice pace. The narrator is very pleasant and does justice to the characters.

Heartwarming and funny
A very easy read. A couple, Vicky and Joe, make a life change by leaving their home in England and moving to a small village in Spain. This story details the friends they meet and the adjustments they make. It’s lighthearted and engaging! I am excited to read the next book and see what’s in store for their future endeavors. :)

Very entertaining listen.
This charming story of a retired English couple who relocate to a small Spanish village is both interesting and enjoyable. The narrator is excellent, capturing the emotions of the moment in her voice, and bringing the various characters to life. The descriptions of the town and residents manage to bring everything to life.

Fabulous
Loved the diverse and unique characters. This book was warm, authentic and uplifting. It was so funny that I laughed out loud for much of it and could not stop for a few minutes at the church scene. I’m appreciative of the writer and the narrators mastered art and talent for expressing the genuine human experience so beautifully. I look forward to more in the series.
