Listening to The Old Ducks’ Club, by Maddie Please, I felt as though I had gone on a carefree vacation to a Greek Isle, had an unexpectedly wonderful time with daring new friends, savored new flavors, had a chance to take stock of my life, and decide on some new directions to explore. I can’t wait for the next adventure!

What a wonderful feel-good book!

A perfectly charming book about putting one foot in front of the other when life throws difficulties your way. Making new friends, finding a new love, letting go of the past, forgiving yourself of failures, standing up for yourself, and seeing the future as a magical new beginning full of possibilities and adventures. Excellent narration.

One of my very favorites!!

I have just died laughing and also come away with quite a great bit of wisdom imparted by these old ducks!! Can’t wait to read the next book!!

I am not British, or in my sixties, but I enjoyed this book, it was a light, relaxing listen and quite funny at times.

Purely entertaining.

Great story line, fabulous characters. Loved the accents and character development. Author described the scene perfectly in fabulous detail. Pure enjoyment.

Love The Setting in Rhodes

Loved the story except for Sophia's lengthy pondering and constant worrying and fretting about her past.

Now I want to go to Rhodes Greece!!
