Good start for this story

Penny and Sebastian's story is such a sweet and swoony story with steamy scenes and just a twist, I couldn't let it go and then the end came and now I need book 2, I heard the audiobook and let me say, both narrators Andi Arndt and Shane East did a phenomenal job, I know this duo is fantastic always, but they did both characters one of the best characterizations they could do. I enjoyed it more than reading it on paper.

5 Star Listen!!

The story and the narrators were both amazing. This listen had it all. An interesting story with some unexpected twists. Characters you root for and others you enjoy loathing. I love that there was not 1 but multiple strong female characters. The listener will journey through a range of emotions from laughter to anger, to angst. The steamy love scenes had me fanning myself to cool down. Cliffhanger stories usually frustrate me. But I found myself only anxious to dive into book 2 to learn what happens next. You will not be disappointed! This is my first time listening to this author, but will definitely not be my last.

didn’t disappoint !!!

Honestly an amazing story. It had me eager to get the second book. The voice actors didn’t an amazing job of encapsulating the emotions of the story. Well executed all around— I am now a new fan of Nana Malone !!!

The cliffhanger shock for sure, I loved it so much - I just downloaded the second book on kindle, just to find out what happens next, because November is to far away to wait.

Pleasantly Surprised

I usually don't go for Royal Prince undercover novels because they tend to be overly predictable. With that said, I really enjoyed this book. Great narrators, good pace, and had hints of humor (I say hints b/c I hate romantic comedy books. The humor tends to feel forced in those. This book however has just a few bits which I like). Somewhat of a slow steamy buildup. Cliffhanger didn't bother me because I love a good series. If you're looking for a light read with enjoyable characters & some steamy moments, this will do the trick.

unique twist

Thought it was great and had a unique twist to the royal trope. Didn't realize it was a 2 book series but had the second book when I started so it was okay.
Loved all the secondary characters and looking forward to those stories.

Book one in the Royals Undercover Duet and you do need to be aware this story ends on one heck of a cliffhanger, one that I did not see coming .....
Andi Arndt and Shane East did a fantastic job bringing the story and the characters to life, they had me hook, line and sinker from the very first page, from the moment their first lines were spoken.
Sebastian doesn’t enjoy life as a Royal so he is trying to run and hide from his responsibility as the prince who is next in line for the throne. Looking to live life how he wants to he sets out to track down his long list brother. Penny has been requested by the King to keep an eye on Sebastian while he is in New York, she is meant to watch him and report back not fall in love ......
This story ticked all my boxes, it’s well written, well narrated, great characters with sizzling chemistry and witty banter and what a lot that cliffhanger !!!! That’s all I’m going to say because you need to read or listen without any preconceived ideas to really enjoy this great story.

Royally Fun!

This is my first book by Ms. Malone, but certainly not the last. I really enjoyed how the story was constructed and how it moved along. Both Sebastian and Penny are interesting characters struggling with their own issues...but I found it engaging that the struggles both characters had with their families closely mirrored each other, regardless of the social standing that divided them.

I listened to the audio performed by Andi Arndt and Shane East. Both did a fabulous job bringing this book to life!
