The Shackleford girls
The Reverend Shackleford was a delight as were each of his daughters. The narration is probably the best I have heard especially the man’s voice of the reverend. Too bad he only had 8 daughters, but whenever I need a good laugh I just start the series over. The cleric Percy was almost as funny as the reverend. Awesome series!

Humorous, Original Tale
I beleve it was my favorite of the Shackleford Sisters Series. It was full of heroes and villains and had a story within a story.

Hilarious
I am partial to funny stories and Beverley Watts is an author you can depend upon to deliver books with delightful characters and laugh out loud antics. Just a few months ago, I saw an ad for her books on Facebook with comments from readers about her humor. The situations are improbable and silly, and there are always dastardly bad guys to overcome. I love it!Endlessly funny, the books are full of early 19th Century English curses and epithets, as hysterical as they are expressive. The narration is fantastic with perfect accents and comic timing. I love these books.

A disappointing book in the series
This book was not only too short but poorly written as well. There is no character development of Chastity or Christian. The ending was rushed and hard to follow. Such a disappointment after pre-ordering. More like a weak novella than a book and really turned me
Off of pre-ordering from Audible without getting more info about the books as well as reviews. I am not happy.
