Sweet Romance

This is the second book in the Seasons of Sugar Creek Series, a small town romance. Darcy and Evan's story is well written, and sweet. The characters are well developed. Cindy Goulding did a great job bringing this story to life. #StoryOrigin

A Good Contemporary Romance

I enjoyed this story. Darcy Fletcher needed a job as she looked for a new career path. Evan Porter needed a nanny for his daughter during the football season. The two agreed to put their differences aside and help each other out until January. The story was charming. The characters were personable. The tropes were age-gap and close proximity. Cindy Goulding's narration was good, but her voice for the young daughter edged toward whiny at times. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

Cute love story!

Sweet love story with a happy ending in a quaint little town that we can all imagine ourselves in. Great narration, as well!

Entertaining story!

This was an enjoyable story with great characters. It was a fun story for listening.

Love has no age.

I love how realistic and possible this story is. I love clean romance with a strong plot.

Sweet

This was such a fun and sweet story! I loved the characters, Sarah was an absolute sweetheart and you can’t help but love her. I loved the small town feel, the close knit family, the well meaning but nosy town ladies. It was full of laughs, and sweet moments, & love.

Like coming home again

Another hit by Ms. Ford! It’s time that Darcy found her way in the world, and little did she know that a little girl (and her dad) would lead her down the right path.

I loved starting this book because it felt like coming home to family with reach word written. But I was saddened when it ended. Just like a good vacation River Ford has given us a reason to come back year after year, book after book — home.

This small town romance is absolutely adorable! Between the Sugar Mamas (a group of nosy, but well intentioned women) to the sweet little girl, Sara, I was on sweetness overload! The Sugar Mamas reminded me a lot of groups from other beloved series, so I was all for it.

Darcy has come home for her brother's wedding. She sees a stranger as one of the groomsmen. He is so handsome...and has a little girl. However, they didn't have the best meet cute. Evan is very attracted to Darcy, which is not on his agenda!

Darcy is trying to find herself. She feels a bit disconnected and adrift. She isn't sure what is her calling. She goes through several jobs during this time.

Evan, a high school football coach, is in need of childcare for the upcoming football season as his normal babysitter is unable to watch Sara. Everyone suggests he find a nanny...

The Sugar Mamas are in full gear when they suggest Darcy take on a job as a nanny....

I enjoyed watching the dynamic of Evan and Darcy. They had such a sweet connection!

Very sweet story

I thought this was a great read! I loved the thoughtfulness of Darcy and the focus on the fact that being a caregiver is a meaningful and fulfilling life if that’s what you want and choose to do!
