I'm so in love with these characters. I do wish Lacey was a bit less of a victim and more of a badass. All in all this series is a great escape from the stress of real life. I can't wait to start the next book

Hooked

Author and narrator par excellence! There can’t be too many of these Kitty Couture books. Listening to Ms Pressley’s magical voice is delightful and Ms Chase’s colorful humor coupled with a flair for creating suspense is perfect.

Occasional grammar errors and a little necessity to suspend reality in this one’s conclusion but no matter. It’s candy to a baby listening and we want more please.

Love the Narrator!

I finished all four books in two weeks because I couldn't get enough of the main character - and the narrator. The narrator set the bar so high for me that I have to go and lower my other reviews because she truly is a five star speaker.

Also, was the only book of four I didn't guess the ending.

Not as good as the first one but still very good. Why do authors insist on love triangles??

I liked the narrator _ that is huge! Good story

for cozy mystery lovers. My only problem is how long it is taking for the Romance to develop. life.is short. I may not live so long.

Fun second installment

there was an interesting twist in the storyline. It seems like the motive for the murder in the beginning, turns out to be a red herring. I kind of find the love triangle just a tiny bit annoying, but I do love the progression of the story. The murderer and motive at the end are a little surprising. Good story, wonderful narrator.

Easy listening, light mystery

Good narration, enjoyable mystery/romance that can be listened to with young people around. Nothing explicit or gory. Just a fun escape. I have enjoyed the series.

Crime, romance, danger, southern hospitality, Llama Mommas, Jazzy Chicks and a cat riding a roomba!

Wonderful

A fun book a light mystery, adorable characters, and well written. Julie Chase has a really nice imagination and translated into a very good book.
