10/10 book, love the new areas of the world and different vibe of the book. easily a contender for best book in the series and of the year. performance from both actors was phenomenal.

Wow another great story in the world you love a monster girl universe eloquently narrated by Chris and Jessica. I can't wait for the next book!

Book 6!!!

First off I loved everything about this story and the performances, great from beginning to end. I had no idea that it was book 6 till the end, looks like I got 5 other books to get. I really liked the authors Mask of the Template series and when this app suggested it I was sitting on a credit and said why not. I need 5 more credits!

Great choice for MC. I had expected the MC to be someone that had sway in the city, but didn't expect who would be picked this time. I really enjoyed watching him go through a redemption arc.

They just keep getting better!

This one was interesting in the fact that it was impossible for me to predict what was coming next. About half way through I started thinking how in the hell does this possibility work out in the end. It came together perfectly and This is my new favorite from the series. Narration was excellent as well. Looking forward to the next one for sure.

Well done as usual with a request

I always enjoy the snapshots of world building I get along with the likable characters I’m constantly presented with. Narrators stellar as usual. Now cebelius please for all that is good give cinder her own story. I am curious who would be brazen enough to rob a dragon, and there will be hell to pay if I never find out the answer.

It's ok

For the most part, this is a fine story, with a few unusual aspects to make it creative. But there are a few odd things.

The author needs to learn to show, not tell. Don't just tell us multiple times that a guy is a sociopath, when he appears to be loyal, willing to make sacrifices for others, and to care what people think of him.

Whatever happened to the romantic rival? She leaves temporarily and then is just never heard from her again. We never know what her reaction would be to later developments.

Definitely not a fan of how the protagonist casually slaps around a child. The author likely feels that it's not a big deal. That he's just being true to the character, who has rough edges and doesn't understand the finer points of child rearing. But still - not cool, man.

absolutely loved it

Another hit from Cebelius! I love how each entry in this series is a complete story with its own romance while also contributing to the larger world and ongoing events. Each book pushes the overarching story forward without sidelining its main characters to focus on those from other books. It reminds me a bit of the CLAMP multiverse, like xxxHolic and Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, but executed even better.
