My name is Jade Bane, and I’ve accidentally fallen for an alien prince. Prince Zamire’s ex is the daughter of the man who owns me—ugh, I hate being part of a harem. She’s determined to make me pay for allegedly turning Prince Zamire’s head. The infuriating part is that Zamire has shown no interest in me. Half the time, he can’t help but remind me that I’m nothing more than trouble. Then, Zamire and I are kidnapped and taken to an ice-covered planet. It turns out Zamire was secretly betrothed to Princess Shala, a warrior princess with a score to settle with me. It doesn’t matter that Zamire was unaware of his father’s arrangements with her.
Princess Shala has two goals: to claim Prince Zamire and to punish me for daring to touch what she considers hers. She leaves me stranded in the middle of a frozen tundra to battle a fire-breathing beast, while Zamire is locked away in the emperor’s castle. Getting to him is a challenge, since the locals also want me dead. It’s clear that I won’t survive much longer unless I find allies.
Will I be able to rescue the prince before he’s forced to marry the princess? Will I finally discover why I have abilities, or will one of the beasts or the hostile locals destroy me?
