Classic space adventure memes
A great space opera romp. Suspend disbelief and enjoy the easy flow and light humour. Even the repeated descriptions of the characters just helps the tongue in cheek spoof.

Hunting for humour in this “humorous” space opera
I was interested in the idea of a funny space opera. Was given a poorly thought out quantum entanglement, a captain who would have been mutinied against immediately, way too much focus on just weirdly phrased descriptions, and then a bland space opera that was forced into existence by a bland idiot. If there was some greater attempt at humor I’d like it more. I also wouldn’t be surprised if this was written by a teenager, to be shocked by the author’s profile. I’m glad I didn’t pay for this title, for free it’s fine, but just fine

Unexpected Entertainment
Okay, take original Star Terk, a soup opera and sprinkle in a bit of Guardians of the galaxy with time/space shenanigans and that's book one. Very amusing, light listen. Book two and half of three slows down a bit but not enough to stop. Worth hearing it out and seeing how the characters progress. It has a good ending. I wouldn't call it the best of books but I did find it enjoyable and the characters are stage-play over-the-top nonsense you can visualize as if it were a play. Just the right amount of dumb humor to not be off-putting. It doesn't take itself too seriously. Better than I would have expected. Steve is the best character in the book. The multiversity need a lot more Steve. Yes, listen for Steve if nothing else.

Painful
How many times does it take for the phrase “delux model Captains chair” to cause a phone to be hurled across a room?
I suffered through the whole book praying it would be over soon.
