I'm just learning what it is to be the main support for someone as alone as Emily. So when moody, brooding Sawyer begins to teach us about horses, we're also learning to love. He's more man than I've ever laid eyes on, and I'm a firefighter. Over six feet of the kind of muscle you can only get by doing hard work, perfectly faded jeans and boots, and the kind of stormy eyes that make me want to never let him go. But I'm part of a package deal these days. My needs come second. Can I trust him to be the man we need?

Wonderful!

Loved this book! Great narration as always by Michael Pauley. Both of them have their scars, but together they work out perfectly.

These poor guys

The author really put Sawyer and Jason through the ringer. It almost seemed like they would never get together. I enjoyed the journey these two went to get their HEA though.

A story of healing and love.

A great story about overcoming the past and learning to live and trust again. The characters of this series all feel so real. The narration was good.

I love how these books bring even strong men that have fears everything will be okay.

Favorite so Far

Great story! Sawyer pulled every heartstring I have. Jason was amazing with his niece. Sawyer and Jason had me rooting for them the whole way. Perfect narration.

Another good Rainier series...

Another Rainier series audiobook I enjoyed. It was predictable, but cute. The family sure does stick together and support one another.

Decent if a little simplified.

The "all you need is the right lover" answer to previous sexual abuse is really tone deaf and made me cringe, but the rest was okay. More could have been done with the autistic character. Although there was a clear attempt made to be sensitive, several tropes about special needs persons are pivotal to the plot, which really fell flat for me.
