it was good

it was good. I liked the ending. it had a hfn. love that the other characters were mentioned on this book. it was good.

Good but...

This was good but it was shy on some of Neva's writing characteristics, not enough of her wit, she delved deep into the psyche of the abused and the diabolical behavior of abusers but the revenge plot over shadowed, forgiveness of self when someone dies and you live. She didn't flesh out the human redemption like she has down in the previous installments. I still loved it.

Love so much this series and how they are interconnected. Absolutely LOVE this series. Great planning by the author!

I had such high expectations for this book

I truly hoped Alexandro’s book would be full of action and romance. The heroine was a bit weak which saddened me immensely.

Gregory Salinas did an awesome job as male narrator.

I needed more chapters. I could read for months about main characters. Other than that, I loved everything about this book.

Ravi and Az... loved their story and the pace of this book was just right. I love this series, Neva Altaj did an amazing job with this couple. It's a slow burn but oh so 🔥🔥🌶️🌶️when they finally got together, the way they got together was a bit tricky since she is technically married but with this one, it kind of works. Alessandro is one protective hero, I think all of Neva's heroes are protective and love their women the moment they meet them without knowing it. The story was great. Now I can't wait for the next one Drago and Sienna.

This is another amazing addition to the overall story line the author has aid out so far. Each book, while a standalone, adds layers to the overall plot of this mafia world. We heard bits and pieces about Az for many books and I was hooked! I could not wait to read his story and it does not disappoint! Alessandro is set in his ways. He has a well thought out detailed revenge plot and nothing can deter him. For 8 years he has worked patiently and diligently to avenge the wrongs he suffered. He is closed off, Gruff, and when he is assigned to Ravenna as a bodyguard his anger is surface level. As the story progresses and he learns more about Ravenna who has cone to the Cosa Nostra life somewhat against her will he realizes his resolve to seek revenge can be shaken. The way this story unfolds and piece by piece we get to see az release his past and his anger and embrace Ravenna and a future is so well done! I love that it doesn't happen quick. This isn't a love at first site throw away all I've ever thought story. He fights against it and stays true to himself as long as he can. Ravenna has given up on dreaming before Az and to see her hope blossom and grow and her fierce nature reveal its self is amazing.

There are no editing or grammar issues to note and the flow of the plot is so well done it makes reading this book a quick and very enjoyable experience.

This book is also available on audio and is done by the same narrators who have voices the rest of the series. The ability of these 2 narrators to give each couple a unique sound and emotion undertone is amazing

All her books are amazing! I have read and reread them! You can’t go wrong when you pick one of her books!
