The way the book should have ended!
Great book for young readers or any age readers that enjoy the outdoor and survival! The Brian Robison series is amazing and Gary Paulson has such a way with words. Love this book and Hatchet too of course!

Much better story
This is a wonderful story and it connects well with the hatchet. The plot feels more organic then the river Kama it adds death and a lot of interestings lessons for Brian as well

Love this series
Even though the stories of survival are similar nature in Paulsen books , there’s just enough variation and suspense to keep you engaged. The author leaves you satisfied, but not wanting the book to end just yet.
