enjoyable listen

Nikolai and Adlai have a complicated story, lets just say things arent always how they seem in the beginning. I like the depth to the characters and found them to be enjoyable. Found this to be an enjoyable listen.

Excellent

This is a well written book with many entertaining layers to the storyline. While their relationship begins in deceit for him to gain more power, an undeniable connection to her emerges that he cannot deny. Their steamy chemistry leads to a deeper bond. The mob alliances and their negotiations are another element of the story that is revealed as the events play out. I enjoyed this book and the narration. She brings the characters to life. I highly recommend this book and the series.

Nicholai and Adalina. Her father is forcing her to marry an old cruel mafia man. He is a rival of Mario. He suduces her to get back at him. Full of mafia stuff, wars, virgin, forced to marry, parent bully, kidnapping for revenge. Loved it.

Book two of the Chicago Mafia series. Adalina is being forced into an arranged marriage to a man almost twice her age. when she refuses her father threatens to offer her future husband her younger sister instead Adalina has no choice but to agree. At her impromptu bachelorette party, she meets Nikoli the head of the rival mob family and they end up spending the night together.

Looks Can be Deceiving

Being forced to marry a man who makes her stomach churn, Adalina decides to go off and have some fun and meets up with Nicolai. He is the opposite of the man whom she is promised to. But what changes the next time they meet? Was it all an act? Is Nicolai really like the other men?

Manipulation, drama, suspense kept me glued to this book as I just had to know what was going to happen. Looking forward to the next book in this series.

Wonderful story! Not to give it away but I’m glad Nick opened his heart to what he can have. So glad she got away to have her true love. Great to have audio to get a feel of things.

Kidnapped by the Bravta

I liked that the story has adventure, suspense and falling in love. The characters are tough and take no prisoners. Nikolai has kidnapped Adelina and is holding her until the other men give him what he wants. What he didn't count on was falling for this woman.

Enjoyable

It was a well written and enjoyable story. Both the author and narrator are new for me and I enjoyed both the writing style and the narrator. It’s a good mafia romance with likable characters. An enjoyable listen .
