Omg! I just finished this and I’m left grinning ear to ear! Tia totally nailed it!!
This is an enemies to lovers (which is my favorite BTW) / office romance!! Patten Fletcher is the devil. That’s what people warned her about when she took her new job but they didn’t tell Raquel just how sexy, broody and mouthwatering he was! She’s determined to resist him but with one small heroic moment, she’s a total goner! 🤤
Patten and “Rocky” have such intense chemistry!! And omg! The drama! I knew something big was about to be revealed!! Had me waiting on the ball to drop! Such a good read that kept me intrigued! This book had me laughing, had me sad and had me so happy! Get ready for the ride!! When I seen the end I was a little disappointed but SURPRISE! We are left with an epilogue and I absolutely adored it!
This is actually my second read of this! The audiobook came out and I had to listen to it!
It was great! I loved the narrators!! Teddy’s voice is so sexy!! Loved Lucy too! They both did such an awesome job!

Great narrators

I love Tia Louise for a reason, well this book just added to that, amazing office romance where Rachel and Patton chemistry is off the charts, they start a relationship outside the office but the secrets he keeps will pay their toll. This story is steamy, swoony and everything you need from an ex military alpha boss and a smart mouth sexy woman. I totally recommend reading it.

THE PERFECT E-T-L OFFICE ROMANCE

Graduating Top of her class, Raquel could have her pick of jobs to start her new career off and she chooses Fletcher International Inc. because that’s where her sister Renee had started. However, Renee had left and suffered a breakdown afterwards.. but that was in the past and now the only advice she can offer Raquel is “don’t fall for the Boss.. he’s the Devil”. Wise words?.. well maybe.. or maybe not. Because Raquel’s feisty strong attitude, quick comebacks, business skills, and of course her looks, might just quieten the beast, calm the damaged ex military man’s rage and awaken the loving, caring, happy sweetheart that’s been buried under the weighty responsibilities he took on for the small band of brothers that he walked in to Hell with.

When Patton Fletcher left the military he was intending to take his three best buds with him and together they would take over Patton’s retiring Father’s firm.. but one didn’t want it and now, seven years on, out of the remaining two, one is self-destructing and one is slowly pulling away. A very entertaining romance as chemistry shakes things up in Raquel and Patton’s lives when instant animal attraction blurs their well-defined lines. Raquel (aka Rocky) is smart, driven, a fierce opponent, a loving sister and a loyal colleague and Patton is a sweet teddy bear in a sexy, tattooed, broody, a.hole alpha disguise. Damaged secondary characters weave in and out and enrich the storyline, a snake in the grass causes serious problems and there’s heartache for a while when the past finally reveals its obscure secrets. This dual POV passionate enemies-to-lovers, quick-to-flare office romance blossoms and blooms perfectly with just the right amount of angst, drama, sex, heartache and humor running through it and Patton’s character development brings joy in the sweet HEA ending.

Worth a credit? An interesting line-up of likeable characters, a well-written e-t-l affectionate office romance, a sexy handsome hero, a feisty heroine who lives up to her nickname and great narration by Lucy and Teddy made this a enjoyable fun and yes creditworthy listen.

Swoon

Teddy Hamilton and Lucy Rivers brought these characters to life in such a way I felt like I was able to listen/read the book for the first time again. I absolutely loved their voices expressing these characters and they did such an incredible job giving these characters a new layer of depth from the pages of the book.

As for the story.. loved this story. Patton is the most perfect broody alpha boss. His military background and partners created for a very interesting story line and I loved the merge of two genres that are usually separate. Raquel comes to work for Patton's company and blows into his life. The chemistry between these two is off the charts and I found myself completely cheering on their story line. I loved the dynamics of the partners together and their history and friendship now.

I found the story to have an incredibly easy flow to follow and now I am nursing a book hangover without Patton to curl up with.

This book is the perfect receipt for an enemy to lovers story. The plot has a lot to keep the book interesting and keep readers awake at night. I’m glad to read one particular character is doing well, the author had me worried there for a moment. Another good book.

Office Romance at its best!

I loved this one! Office Romances are one of my favorite genres! This one hit the spot! The story flows along with a grumpy ruthless boss. Raquel was warned about him but took the job anyway. She felt she could overcome his dislike of her. Ha ha! Those sparks that glow between them made for an enjoyable story.

Secondary characters are lovely! I liked meeting his crew and all the office workers. They both root for and against these two getting together. They add some good times!

I did listen to this on audio. Lucy Rivers and Teddy Hamilton did an outstanding job portraying these characters. This one is going on my favorites!

Swoony, angsty enemies-to-lovers! Perfect narration!

Tia Louise, you can do no romance wrong! This was another perfect enemies-to-lovers romance that I quickly got lost in.

Patton and Raquel were perfection. From their undeniable chemistry to their red-hot passion, everything just worked. I was left a swoony puddle of fangirl over Patton’s protective streak. The man is all broody alpha and I was here for it! Boss of Me had everything: drama, angst, plenty of steam, and a great romance with a HEA.

Narration by Teddy Hamilton and Lucy Rivers was all the things. They’re quickly rising to the top as one of my favorite narrating duos. If their name is on the audiobook I’m buying it. Definitely credit-worthy! 5 stars.

Bossy meets determined and love grows

What do you get when you combine a brooding, stubborn, former military commander with a fiesty, stand your ground intelligent woman? A hot romance that will also melt your heart.

Patton has been trying to protect his men since they left the military. He feels responsible for the injuries his soldiers suffered and still suffer from. He has taken over his father business and has his best friends working with him to build the business so they are all secure for their futures. He is focused on the end game and doesn't have time for distractions. In walks Raquel, beautiful, smart, and full of sass. His whole world is about to change.

Raquel is looking to make a name for herself and when she gets a position working in Patton's firm she is thrilled and a little nervous. Her sister worked here previously and it didn't work out so well so she is guarding herself from the "devil", Patton. It doesn't take long for her guard to slip and she sees him for the man he truly is even behind that grumpy personia.

This is a good book about struggles that soldiers face in coming home and returning to the mainstream as well as struggles smart women sometimes face in the business world. Throw lust and love into the mix and you have a heart melting love story.

Lucy Rivers and Teddy Hamilton were perfect at Patton and Raquel. Lucy gave Raquel that smoldering voice that exudes strength and Teddy, well he is a perfect Patton. All hot, commanding, and whew..... Loved listening to both of them from start to finish.

I loved this audiobook and highly recommend it. Worth the credit.
