And just like that, I'm into demon stories!!

Even since I read IWSATB, Mason Deaver is an auto-buy author for me. When I saw that they wrote a horror story I was SO excited cause it's really hard to find good horror stories and even harder to find good queer horror stories.

And of course Mason didn't disappoint. On the contrary, this was even better that I expected. I'm not a fan of the paranormal and that's a big part of the horror genre and the main reason I hardly ever find horror books that I enjoy.

This one though, it's so well done that made me want to read more books with demons!! Even if it's a short story, its characters are well written and developed! In just a few hours, Mason was able to awake my love for the occult, which was asleep for almost a decade now. And let me tell you, it woke up with a craving!!

So, if you are reading this, THANK YOU Mason for all those feelings and for filling a need I had forgotten I had.

Kept Me Interested on a Drive

What the narrator lacked in performance, the story made up for it. It did leave me wanting more but read by someone new.

What a pleasant surprise. I thoroughly enjoyed this audio book. It was chilling, engaging, and unpredictable. I loved the deviance of Jacob. Cant wait to read more from this author.

A good lesson

I enjoyed this story, short and easy to follow. It sort of confirms that doing evil never pays, even when your goal is evil itself. Lol.

A quick read

I liked the premise of the book it was a cool demonic story, that was centered around the powers of persuasion and manipulation and a good lesson that what you summon might not agree with your plan.

Wow! This book had twists and turns until the end! The story was masterfully written! It left me wanting more. I want to know what happens next!!!!!!
My only critique is that the readers voices could have used some more diversity between characters. It’s a minor thing.
Listen to this book!!!!!! You won’t be disappointed!!!!

Chilling, dramatic, & attention grabbing

I loved this story. I couldn't stop listening. I wish this book was longer and had more to it! I'd love to know what happens next! kind of a cliff hanger ending, which I love.

This was my first read from this author and it was pretty good. I was interested in the outcome for the majority of the story and I it was an interesting turn of events at the end.
