Soooo good!

This was such a great story! I absolutely loved the start to this series. Eric ended up being so sweet and awesome... loved it.

Loved this one!

At the beginning, I thought this was going to be the typical bully romance, but this story really got to me. I loved the relationship in this one so much and loved watching the main characters grow! Seriously, don't miss this book! It is really good: well narrated, well told and well written.

Enjoyable Bully Romance read

This book was an enjoyable bully high school romance listen that kept my attention. The perfect set up of two characters who are on opposite sides of the tracks. Maddie is trying to go to school and take care of her siblings and then has to deal with Eric and his cruel ways. Eric is the perfect alpha bully who is picking on Maddie and then gets what he never knew he needed. Their relationship has a lot of pull, banter, and just a level of tenderness that creates for an incredible read/listen.

I think the narrator did a good job reading the story and giving the characters some depth.

I highly enjoyed this audiobook. It wasn't exactly what I thought it would be. The humor scattered throughout this book is just great. It balances the seriousness of some of the other issues. I would consider this a New Adult book since it has some mature material, but, I liked it better that way. 😉
Lee Wuest does a surprisingly successful job narrating both male and female voices.
The cat jumped several times since I laughed loudly a few times, but I think she gives it paws up, too. 🐱🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾

Absolutely just the best

I am so surprised by how much I loved this book! Most bully books have you hating one character right away and then you have to eventually fall in love with them. Not this one. I feel in love with Maddie and Aric almost right away. I also liked the fact we weren’t dragged down the rest of the high school years just to get to where we needed to go. We went from the beginning of sophomore year to the beginning of senior year. I wish more books would take a page from your style of writing. I loved how this was done.
Also the Narrator did a awesome job bringing this book to life!

I listened straight through and really enjoyed the story. The narrator was ok, but I wish he had more energy or something? Not bad, but not above average. Nothing that kept me from listening however. I’m glad I was given the chance to review this book and even though it was set in the senior year of high school, it wasn’t teeny bopperish or silly. I hope to hear more from the author.

Lost Interest

For what I did read I thought was good, but after three and a half hours, I felt like I really didn’t want to see any more issues for both Maddie and Aric.

There was also plot lines that I’m tired of seeing for the age of students. Honestly, I think that you could have put the characters in a college/ post high school setting.

Narration was good for Aric, hard time buying for Maddie, but the narrator did what he could. I’d read more with him as a narrator for male voices.
