Before the Beginning, is military science fiction set in the 24th century, the Milky Way Galaxy and the Universe.

Earth technology had for the last four hundred plus years grown incomprehensibly fast and man’s intellect struggled to keep up. They were simply not ready to meet the challenges presented. When they found that they were only one of an uncountable number of civilizations in the galaxy, and some of them being very bad folks, they pooled their resources and with some help from friendly alien races, developed a military that could hopefully protect them from the unknown.

In the countless anomalies, wonders, and dangers of the universe.

Captain Danny Davidson, Galactic Scout for Earth’s Galactic Guardians, with his crew of androids traverses the galaxy continually watching for any sign of the Anthraxin’s who were always looking for any planet that they can overrun with ease.

The Anthraxin’s, scourge of the known galaxy live for violence, and plunder, along with whatever bloodshed, slaughter, carnage, and butchery that they can impart upon innocent beings. They thrive on killing and imparting a slow death to almost anything that lives.

Danny’s ship, christened the Spirit - with no weapons, only speed and shields, one of which will reflect a weapons blast back in the direction it came from - carries him and his android crew to places dictated by a psychic sense that even he doesn’t understand.

Being the only survivor of a crash landing on a camouflaged planet and in order to survive himself, he will try to help save the alien race that caused his ship to malfunction and crash.

With a partially repaired ship, he must leave the planet and decoy the Anthraxin’s away in order to protect a planet that cannot protect itself.

A supernova is the last thing that anyone wants to be close to, but taking advantage of it for camouflage and protection may be his best hope to avoid being captured by the Anthraxins.

Discovering an unknown asteroid belt with one extremely large asteroid that seems to be the home of an irrational android, they try to form an alliance with him and while trying to deal with him they find that he owns a virtual reality device that may be the key to a better understanding of the Anthraxins. After spending a large amount of time trying to determine whether he wants to be friend or foe, they also find that there is a hidden dark side to him.

They find that the universe conceals many secretes as an accidental time wrap propels them into the past and leads to discovering a world that existed before the beginning of our universe and to discovering what transpired before the universe was formed along with a better understanding of the Anthraxins who are the most vile creatures in the known universe.
