the audiobook is very good

the Audio Book is very well done and very good for listeners to listen to and enjoy following along with it.

Great story that doesn’t fit with the movie

This is honestly a very nice story, it’s charming and cute and if it was to be standalone it would be much better but it doesn’t make sense as part of The beauty and the beast.

My main problem is how dumb and gullible Belle is in the story. This seems like it was pretty heavily produced for little girls so it stops Belle of most of her identity and she’s just a plain girl. Belle is supposed to be smart and somewhat well read (in the live action she doesn’t have many book to read from, but she knows of them) and yet is unaware of the concept of lies?

This story really reduces how smart and ingenuous Belle is, it is the only bad thing about it though.

Enchanting addition

I did love the story and being back in Belle's world. However, I was hoping there would be new information. I didn't realize it was going to take place within the original story. I would have liked to get fresh ideas and such. However, it was enchanting and engaging despite that.

The only draw back is it took me a few chapter to feel immersed in the story, but once your drawn into the magic you'll never want to leave. The title does the book justice, I was truly lost in a book!

This book met every Disney expectation, well done!

I never wanted it to end. I loved nevermore

this book is a 100 time better than the movies. it is magical, it takes you on an amazing adventure, it is enticing and creative. and the narrator is the best. I love the way she read the book. this book is one of my favorites. like really favorites!!!

A good spin within the main Beauty and the Beast.

The story was very well written. My only complaint would be that the first run of chapters took a very long time in setting up the main focus of this one. It could have been set up with two chapters instead of ten or so.

Great Mother Daughter Read

I loved being able to connect with my daughter over this book! I loved that we both knew the backstory of Belle but was introduced to this whole new realm. We enjoyed listening to it together and even more enjoyed talking about what happening. Even if you are listening on your own.. You will still enjoy it! It is definitely 5 stars!!

skip the remake and read this instead.

This fills in gaps of emotional growth that were not in the movie. It also shows a larger scale battle at play.

It has a lot of soul and imagination. In other words, it is a perfect book to get lost in.
