Love the Brides Series

As in all the stories, this one does not disappoint. Glad Steph finds her HEA. She couldn’t have chosen a more honorable Atlan.

Velik and Stephanie

Always love Tor Thom's performances. Shiloh James was also very good. The story however left me wanting more. For someone who has both a mother and a sister with Atlan warrior mates, Stephanie is either stubbornly obtuse or just dumb about Atlan customs and mores which lead to many missed opportunities. In itself this can be very exciting to read - will they or won't they figure it out. Grace Goodwin has used this trope in many of her stories. Here though the pacing is both too slow and too fast. Side characters just drop off at the end. What happened to them? I love a good HEA this one was OK.

A Sexy and Quick Read

I really enjoyed this story. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a sci-fi romance with a HEA.

This secret baby was quite the surprise and everything that happened afterwards. A really different beast story & I loved it.

Best Series

Entire series was a great read and if Grace Goodwin does additional books about the BEASTS I will be the first read them. Live the characters and the storylines.

bad timing and understanding

Adrian Davis is on a sailboat with friends when they see an Atlan running along the beach pacing them. Warlord Velik has been pushed to the very edge of mating fever and calls Helion to request an active posting to the frontline of the Coalition to go out in a blaze of glory. So, of course, that’s when he hears a woman’s voice that belongs to his mate. The story continues with multiple errors of timing and miscommunication. Adrian knows Atlans as both her mother and sister are happily mated to them.
I would have had more fun with this story if we could’ve had Atlans wigging on sets of twins.
I was annoyed with the male spelling of her name - Adrian. Female s/b Adrianne or Adrienne.
James & Thom do a decent job of narration but could do better.

enjoy the Atland beasts. She is a not my favorite heroine, more over dramatic. Veliik also has his short comings, but they work it out.
