This is a quick, fun romance

I needed a book like this. It was definitely a typical romance; fun, predictable, a bit sexy, and sometimes a feeling of frustration towards the main character.
It also had a side storyline which I quite enjoyed

Although I found the narrator difficult to enjoy, I know that their job is super hard. So I set that aside. I sped the book up to x1.5, which made it better for me.

If you want something with lots of meat, substance or something that makes you think about the meaning of life, this isn't for you.

If you want fun, a bit of humor, and quick resolution, then I highly suggest this one.

Each book gets better.

This book was a true rom com. Lotsa fun twist and turns.

The author Rachel Rhodes wrote a good story.

The vocal artist katlynnt Millions was very good at portraying the story. Only pet pev was spoke American and kept saying ars instead of ass.

This isn't a romance. Cat hasn't had a stable home life from childhood through marriage. She and Aaron had been separated for over a year. They have both started relationships with others. Aaron wants Cat, but only if she's unavailable. He doesn't want her, but doesn't want anyone else to have her. There are many things that must be overcome before happiness is possible. The listener will have to listen until the end to find out if their choice prevails.




The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed by Katlynn Millions.

Great Read

Awkard Infidelity was a great read by Rachel Rhodes. Cat winds up having an affair with her husband, even though they are seperated. Unfortunately Cat still seems to be under his control. She meets Blake, who is a surgical intern, and she is determined to end things with her estranged husband. That doesn't seem to go her way as it just fuel's his desires for her. I really enjoyed listening to Cat and Blake's story. I can't wait to read more by Rachel Rhodes.

Awkward Infidelity

Wow this is an awesome read. I love the series that this read is included in. Kat has quite the decisions to make. As you listen to her story and the hurdles she has to get past really makes you feel for the character. This is a well developed story. I loved the humor and emtions that come out in the character. There is never a dull moment in this read. And the Narrator done. Great job at bringing the different characters out as well. I definitely recommend this read.

Wow!

I listened to these books out of order. If I thought book 4 dealt with some difficult subjects, I was not prepared for book 3! Book 3 is all about toxic, and abusive relationships. Having experienced an abusive relationship this one hit close to home. Unbelievably well written.

We all have that one person who is our biggest weakness

We’ve all had that one love that we just couldn’t escape from. One that could always get to us no matter how strong we thought we were. That’s just what Aaron is to Cat, the husband that won’t go away, even though he’s now living with the woman he cheated on her with. Follow Cat through her new relationship with Blake, the surgical intern, as she tries to break free from the one man that can always get to her. Will Cat end up with Blake or with the cad Aaron?

Love It!!!

Another amazing story. I absolutely enjoyed listening to this audiobook. It’s really good from start to finish. I wish for more of Blake and Cat. Overall a must listen!!

Enjoyable story of awkward relationships

“Awkward Infidelity” focuses on Cat, who is stuck in some “awkward” relationships in her life. She’s dating a doctor who adores her, yet finds herself still under the influence of Aaron, the cheating husband she’s been separated from. Meanwhile, her mother is quite the handful and yet, as if that wasn’t enough for her to handle, Cat feels the need to know who her true father is. There’s definitely a lot going on in this tale! I would classify this story as more of a chick-lit versus a romance, although there are some steamy scenes that give a little thrill. The story mainly is about Cat’s growth of her character as she overcomes her ties to her past relationship, and finds strength and determination to pursue her happiness and be with those that want the same thing. I enjoyed the craziness of Cat’s relationship situations, and how everyone got what they deserved in the end. Katlynn Millions gave a great performance for an overall smooth and enjoyable listening experience.

Thorny Affair

Awkward Infidelity (Awkward Series, Book 3) is a blend of heart and humour. I absolutely love this series. Deceit Faith, infidelity, and honesty are all aspects of this audio. This author writes a romance with characters who envelop uncertainty, enviousness, passion, and possesive hold. Diving into Kat's dilemma begins with ups and downs and smooths out a path of true-heartedness. I loved Cat & Blake together and felt her dilemma in a upset the applecart kind of way. Character's are compelling and continue to flourish. An engaging twist that is swirling through the tracks will have you smiling. I love how it ended.

I absolutely love how Katlynn Millions narrates this series. A flawless performance that brings more to the narrative. Her intonation is smooth and intoxicating. Her style is organic and brings a realism to it.

Looking forward to listening to the final audio in this series.
