This handbook supersedes FAA-H-8083-9A, Aviation Instructor’s Handbook, dated 2008.

~ This handbook is spot on concerning risk & hazard management. ~ I am almost finished with the 3rd chapter & I am already impressed. ~ The narrator is outstanding., clear, concise, & to the point, with no distracting accents. ~ Unfortunately it doesn't come with the updated PDF file, but you can find it here: https://www.faa.gov/regulations_policies/handbooks_manuals/aviation/aviation_instructors_handbook/ ~ Thanx Audible this is my kind of book. I can even go to sleep listening to it overnight.

Great way to learn/review a LOT of material
If you’re studying for the FOI, this is a great way to get the background. I used it in conjunction with King Schools FOI course (they follow the same outline) and it really reinforced their material that is more focused on the FAA knowledge test.

FAA Instructional Bible for CFIs, Ground Instructors and Maintenance Instructors
This is a required FAA reference for Certificated Flight Instructors (CFIs), Ground Instructors, snd Maintenance Instructors.
Reading this in hard copy is sleep-inducing which makes this audiobook by contrast a very welcome study tool. Read while commuting or cooking. Thank you Airman Audio. I will look forward to you producing more of these FAA manuals. Very much appreciated!
For anyone studying for the FAA Fundamentals of Instruction exam which is part of getting your CFI, BGI, AGI, or IGI, this is essential reading.
