If you love any type of military, fbi, espionage thrillers…this book is for you! I LOVE the fact of how it’s read by all different characters with theme noises in the background. I hope I can find others like this!!

Different approach from the usual Mark G.

Armored was different from the usual Greaney works I have read or listened to. Duff delivers with one leg better than most with two. didn't seem right Jay playing the bad guy, but his demeanor and approach in the beginning sold his role too early for me. having dealt with the same anxiety and disappointment, this listen hits home big time. thanks as always Mark.

THE MOST ENTERTAINING BOOK I'VE LISTENED TO!

I've been an avid listener to Audible for years, and love the Grey Man series... But what a great departure from the standard reading! When is the next one coming out!

Like a movie - except it's an audiobook

Love the action and the performances by the cast. A short story (it's only 5 hours) about a down and out of luck former infantry soldier turned private contractor, taking a job out of desperation that turns out just as you'd think. Oddly enough, the strange dynamics among the characters is not out of the norm for most conventional military units. I suspect the author served or was in close consultation with those that have served. Overall, I enjoyed the action-packed story, set in one of the most dangerous places on the planet: Mexico. The cast's performances, music, and sound effects brings the story to life that isn't always present when performed by a single narrator. My only issue was that sometimes, the characters were drowned out by the sound effects of explosions and gunfire, that to be honest, is perfectly normal in a fire fight. Nonetheless, a exceptionally entertaining audio book from Mark Greaney.

Kind of weird

Kind of weird in a good way took a little getting used to it after I got rolling really enjoyed it entertaining was like watching a movie in your mind

If you want action this is it

First and foremost, this is not a book. It’s more like a made for radio theatrical production. Once you realize that you can settle in and enjoy the story. I found it to be intense and action packed. I truly enjoyed the production.
