Hidden years... shouldn't be wasted
I enjoyed this book and the reading of it by the author. The truth that the hidden times where no one is watching our every move are the important character and knowledge and spiritual growth moments that prepare us for our future is so good to see.
Just as Jesus had a lot of hidden years so do we. Jesus didn't waste those years and neither should we.
Good and thoughtful book to encourage and challenge us even in those times when we aren't on display.

Life-changing!
This book is so full of wisdom and encouragement, that I reread it every few years. Though I own the book, as I am going back into a hidden season, I also purchased it on Audible so I could listen while I travel. So worth it!

Renewed perspective
Thank you for such a wonderful expository on the life of Christ and others, lived from the place of understanding that preparation is fueled by hiddenness. This has come to my life at a most opportune time. Your narration was spot on and easy on my ears. I don’t think I’ll ever be the same. Thank you Alicia.

Just finished my second read!
Alicia is amazing in her writing. I read this for a second time and was again touched but in different ways from the first. Highly recommend!

Food for the soul
One of the most life giving and refreshing books I've read in a long time. Alicia reads this exceptionally well too. Now I'm going to look for more by this fantastic author!

Such an Important Book
The topic of humility and anonymity goes extremely underdeveloped these days. We often miss that God may be leading us to those dry, barren years where we are seemingly forgotten.
I have found myself in one of those seasons. This book masterfully lays out how to navigate and embrace the anonymous years, speaking so deeply from the life of Christ Himself.
I devour books, but this is one that needs to be taken piece by piece, with a magnifying glass over your own life as you read. Can't recommend this highly enough.
