Great Start to the Series

Traveling from Boston to the Wild West of Texas is fraught with challenges and no one is more aware of them than Kate Whidby. Feeling that she has no other good options, she answers an ad as a mail-order bride. This book has a good storyline with well-developed characters. I enjoyed the author’s style of writing and she is also the narrator.
My only issue with the narration is that there’s no pause when the scenes change. Otherwise it’s very good.
If you like clean stories of settling the American west and specifically mail order brides, I believe you’ll find this a good choice.
