A good listen

An Amish love reclaimed is a short, sweet love story about finding love once more in a marriage.

Ruth was by my favourite character because she's just hilarious and honest all in all.

Recommended to anyone who likes historical romance

Amish love!

A cute Amish love story! How love over came all. Love how their trust in god help them. Narration was on cue!

Good story

A lovely story about a couple who has been married 6 years ,with work and a child ,reality sets in that their marriage needs more than that, needs a Spark of love to keep the marriage alive, with prayer and honesty with each other , the couple realizes what's needed,to save it.

A sweet short story

Miriam Lapp is a young Amish wife with a four-year-old son, and a husband who is working long hours, focused on getting a promotion at the furniture store where he works.

It's been months since she saw a spark in his eyes when he looks at her, and the romance seems to be gone from their marriage. Miriam is determined to change that.

She recruits her mother to babysit her son, and planned an evening out with her husband, to try to revive their marriage.

It's a sweet, simple short story.

Lovely Story, Melodramatic Narration

Overall, this is a very nice story about a young couple who is having some trouble in their relationship. It is a realistic tale written in a clean fashion. You won't find any over descriptions of bedroom antics or any swearing.
The problem isn't with the story itself. The narrator's delivery was extremely melodramatic. I started feeling like I was listening to an old radio mystery and almost expected the orchestra to play a dramatic DUN-DUN-DUN at any minute. The narrator's delivery would have been perfect for that sort of story. For a story such as this one, she needs to tone it down several notches and just tell the story rather than emoting quite so much.

Enjoyable short read

An Amish Love Reclaimed (Amish Romance), my first read from Christian author Emma Elizabeth Zook. If there's a problem with this book that it's so short & doesn't have a typical Amish feel to it. You want stories/books longer so you can enjoy them for a longer time. I was given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reading & reviewing it. Giselle M. Chatelain’s narration adds to the book's enjoyment. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

After marriage, relationships change. This short story shows how things changed for one couple and the struggle to bring back the missing romance and attention.

Elizabeth Zook was right on target with this short tale. Giselle M Chatelain did a lovely job with the narration.

Good Read

An Amish Love Reclaimed was a good quick read by Elizabeth Zook. Miriam has always wanted to fall in love and start a family and unfortunately that hasn't turned out as she wanted. Her husband Josiah works a lot and basically leaves her and their son alone. She knows that something needs to change and she does what she can to reclaim their romance and love. I ejoyed listening to this quick read by Elizabeth Zook.
