Just okay
I found the storyline interesting, but tiring to listen to. I just wanted to finish the book and by the end I was happy with the main story, but frustrated with all the rest. I am not continuing the series.

It was good
Overall the story was good. Sometimes it read like a fanfiction, which is fine because I like fanfiction, but if you were expecting top notch story telling it's not here. Saying that....I was suckered in and couldn't stop listening.
The Narration was fine though there were jumps in character perspective within the chapters and it was hard to pick up on sometimes.
Spoiler: there is a section where a certain code is in binary. The narrator read the combination of zeros and ones for two minutes straight. I couldn't help but laugh since it was such a tension killer. I fact checked it though and it does mean what the author said in the story.
